Born and raised in Germany, Catiana moved to England to complete a BA in ‘Design for Interactions and Moving Images’ at London College Of Communications. Her degree entailed the traits of Fine Art and Moving Image, which established a conceptional approach to Design.

From creating large scale installations, designing venues for festivals and event decor in London, she eventually fully crossed over to the Film Industry.This background enabled her to develop the practical skills needed to grow within the art department when Production Designer Francesca Massariol introduced her to Short and Feature Films in 2016.

Ever since, she gained extensive experience as Standby on Feature Films as well as Art Director/ Set Decorator on Short Films. Enjoying the diversity of visual story telling, Catiana has a special enthusiasm for period dramas, reviving aesthetics that built the foundation of present-day designs.
